Working Hours and Schedule 8–12 hours per week, approximately. 1Mainly Monday to Thursday afternoons. Some schedule flexibility will be considered based on service needs. Responsibilities **The selected candidate will be responsible for:** Conducting initial and follow-up speech therapy assessments. Designing and implementing individualized intervention plans. Conducting individual speech therapy sessions. Facilitating group sessions and workshops. Providing home-based care when necessary. Addressing voice, speech, communication, breathing, and swallowing issues—particularly in individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Monitoring the progress of individuals under care and documenting interventions performed. Coordinating with other professionals within ACAP’s multidisciplinary team. Participating, as needed, in activities, workshops, or initiatives aimed at education and promoting autonomy among individuals under care. **Profile:** Requirements Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Speech Therapy. Professional registration, where required for practice. Prior experience in speech therapy care. Knowledge and/or experience in neurology, dysphagia, voice disorders, and communication disorders. Availability to conduct individual and group sessions, assessments, and home-based care. Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team. Sensitivity and respectful interaction with individuals affected by chronic illnesses and their families. Especially valued Experience working with individuals with Parkinson’s disease or other neurological conditions. Specialized training in dysphagia, voice, or neurological speech therapy. Experience facilitating group activities.
