Laser Textile Cutting Operator

Description

We are seeking a **Laser Cutting Machine Operator** with experience in the textile or industrial garment manufacturing sector. The selected candidate will join our production team to handle fabric, design component, and prototype cutting processes, ensuring quality standards and material optimization. Key Responsibilities * **Preparation and configuration** of laser cutting machinery (CO2 / fiber) according to specifications for each fabric type. * **Loading design files** (DXF, AI, PDF formats) into the machine’s software and adjusting parameters (power, speed, frequency). * **Feeding the machine** with fabric rolls or cut pieces, ensuring correct positioning and tensioning. * **Monitoring the cutting process**, controlling edge sealing quality to prevent fraying. * **Sorting, labeling, and palletizing** cut components. * **Basic preventive maintenance** and cleaning of equipment (lenses, nozzles, extraction systems). Minimum Requirements * **Proven experience** of at least 1\-2 years operating laser cutting machinery (preferably in textiles, footwear, or leather goods). * Basic knowledge of **design or nesting software** for fabric optimization (e.g., AutoCAD, CorelDraw, Illustrator). * Ability to interpret production technical sheets. * Meticulous, organized individual with strong attention to detail. * Availability to work assigned shifts. Desirable Requirements (Valued) * Prior experience as a traditional textile cutter (cutting table, vertical cutter, or die-cutting). * Knowledge of various fiber types (synthetic, natural, technical) and their reaction to laser heat.
