




Job Summary: The Vallès Oriental Municipal Council seeks a Social Integrator to support vulnerable youth through direct assistance, coordination, and social initiatives. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity for professional learning with technical mentoring The Vallès Oriental Municipal Council is seeking a Social Integrator for the hiring of young people aged 16–29 under the JENP project, via a traineeship contract. This position targets individuals holding a Higher Vocational Training Diploma (CFGS) in Social Integration obtained within the last 3 years—or within the last 5 years if they hold a disability certification—and who have not previously held a traineeship contract. Candidates must be registered with the Catalan Employment Service (SOC) as unemployed jobseekers (DONO) and enrolled in the Youth Guarantee Programme. Assistance and Follow-up: • Provide support during initial reception and first interviews for individuals referred by Social Services or Employment Services. • Conduct joint follow-up with technicians on employment pathways for vulnerable individuals. Coordination and Referrals: • Participate in coordination meetings between Social Services and Employment Services. • Support management of referrals to external resources (training, employment, health, etc.). Project Support: • Collaborate in organizing group activities, pre-employment skills workshops, informational sessions, etc. • Participate in actions under the RUMB programme and other municipal projects targeting vulnerable groups. Administrative Management and Recordkeeping: • Support updating of databases and archiving intervention case histories. • Monitor documentation associated with each case. Learning and Continuous Improvement: • Participate in internal training sessions. • Conduct periodic self-assessments and receive mentoring from the designated supervisor. * SOCIAL INTEGRATION * Catalan (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Spanish (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Competencies / Knowledge: Knowledge of target groups and legislation: familiarity with regulations concerning social rights, immigration, and protection of vulnerable groups. Intervention techniques: individual support techniques, cognitive stimulation, and group dynamics. Office software.
