Job Summary: Responsible for comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment at a desalination plant, ensuring operational continuity and proposing improvements. Key Highlights: 1. Preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of industrial equipment. 2. Promoting technical improvements to optimize performance and reduce costs. 3. Training in occupational health and safety (PRL), work at heights, and operation of specific machinery. The industrial maintenance position at a water desalination plant in Palma de Mallorca focuses on guaranteeing proper equipment functionality and operational continuity. Responsibilities include preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of equipment and facilities—from inspection and cleaning to diagnosis and resolution of faults in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Monitoring equipment condition enables anticipation of failures and ensures service quality. Detailed records of interventions are maintained, and coordination with the operations team ensures task scheduling without disrupting production. Strict adherence to safety procedures is essential. The professional proposes technical improvements to optimize performance and reduce costs. Training in occupational risk prevention (PRL), work at heights, and use of specific machinery is required, along with knowledge of automated systems and PLCs. The role demands analytical ability, problem-solving skills, proactivity, autonomy, and communication skills to integrate effectively into the team. Vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electricity and Electronics, Installations, or related fields. Prior experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in industrial plants or water treatment facilities. Knowledge of electricity, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Proficiency in basic computer tools such as the Microsoft Office suite. Valid driver's license (Class B). Availability to work rotating shifts and on-call duty.
