Description
We are seeking to hire a person for the maintenance team in an industrial environment, whose primary objective will be to ensure that machinery operates without interruption and at maximum efficiency. Tasks include comprehensive care of equipment—both electrical and mechanical components—with special attention paid to automated systems controlled by PLCs. The mission is to prevent unplanned stoppages and guarantee that all operations comply with established parameters to meet the plant’s production and quality goals.
Daily responsibilities combine scheduled tasks with others requiring immediate response. Preventive maintenance routines will be carried out to extend equipment service life and reduce failures, while faults arising on production lines will be diagnosed and repaired. To this end, technical knowledge must be applied and swift action taken to restore operational status in the shortest possible time—requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
In addition to repairs, you will participate in improving maintenance processes—updating documentation, proposing changes to enhance machine reliability, and collaborating with other departments such as production or engineering. All this takes place within a technical and dynamic environment, offering an indefinite contract and rotating shifts in Alcobendas.
A formal technical qualification is strictly required—such as a Higher Vocational Training Cycle—in electromechanics or industrial maintenance. A minimum of two years’ practical experience performing maintenance duties in an industrial setting—handling production machinery and automated lines—is mandatory. Practical knowledge of programming, diagnostics, and maintenance of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is considered a strong asset. Having your own vehicle is essential to meet the mobility requirements of this position.
