They empower themselves to move freely within their space and do what needs to be done—whether processing operational requirements; responding to guest requests; completing reports; sharing information about local attractions; or assisting guests with vehicle loading/unloading and transporting luggage to/from rooms and/or designated bell areas. The Guest Experience Expert ensures every transaction feels like a positive part of the guest experience. Regardless of your specific role, there are several fundamental elements that support success—creating a safe workplace; adhering to company policies and procedures; maintaining quality standards; and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communication remain professional at all times. The Guest Experience Expert is constantly on the move (standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, navigating narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and ascending/descending service stairs and/or ramps); taking an active role (must be able to move, lift, push, pull, and place objects unassisted weighing up to 50 lbs, and up to 100 lbs with assistance; reach above and below knee level; bend, twist, pull, and stoop). Performing all tasks to the best of one’s ability (and other reasonable duties as requested), it is critical that Guest Experience Experts consistently deliver excellence—for guests and for the business.
