Description
Provide comprehensive care to the individuals served. Person-Centered Care: Strengthening prevention and activation functions to improve the quality of life of the individuals served, maintaining their functional, psychological, and social abilities to the greatest extent possible. Enhance the three areas—social, psychological, and functional—to improve quality of life.
Monitor all incidents, symptoms, and issues affecting residents and communicate them, as appropriate, to the interdisciplinary team in writing or orally, according to needs. • Assist users with getting up, dressing, and undressing. • Assist users with personal hygiene during bathing, and maintenance and care of their assistive devices (prostheses, orthoses, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, etc.). • Administer food to dependent individuals served and assist others in tasks they cannot perform independently. • Assist users with mobility. Motivate users through participation in various activities (recreational programs, workshops and activities, rehabilitation, and occupational therapy). • Stimulate and work on individuals’ capacities to delay deterioration and enhance personal autonomy. • Listen attentively to individuals and detect possible unexpressed problems. • Support users by providing necessary conditions and care so they feel at home in a pleasant and familiar environment. • Promote human, social, and interpersonal relationships among residents
* Experience: 6 months. Six months’ experience in caring for dependent individuals.
