Job Summary: Responsible for production, quality, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, leading and motivating teams in an aerospace environment. Key Highlights: 1. Lead production and ensure compliance with quality standards. 2. Implement Lean tools and improve manufacturing processes. 3. Develop teams and manage personnel efficiently. **Job Description:** **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * **Responsible for ensuring that the resources required for production are available and used appropriately.** * **Responsible for ensuring adherence to and compliance with standards established by the Quality Department.** * **Initiate timely actions to reduce Cost of Poor Quality.** * **Improve the manufacturing process to meet delivery schedules and quality requirements.** * **Focal point for Lean tool implementation within the section:** * **Acting as the focal point at their level for problem resolution (PPS), identifying and responding to production issues and ensuring timely initiation of corrective actions.** * **Responsible for maintaining and promoting 5S routines and standards.** * **Updating Visual Management boards.** * **Lead routines at their level, such as SQCDP, FOD, and Process Confirmation.** * **Liaise with various departments in the area, including Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and FT, ensuring effective communication across different teams and departments.** * **Lead, motivate, evaluate, and develop team members to ensure appropriate qualification and a healthy working environment.** * **Plan theoretical and on-the-job training for the department.** * **Develop effective relationships and foster team spirit.** * **Adjust staffing levels according to delivery pace and potential issues such as parts supply, anticipating and notifying additional working hours within established timeframes.** * **Assign and monitor Work Packages according to PPC.** * **Ensure effective communication with various teams and departments.** * **Act as the FOD responsible for the area.** * **Identify risks and opportunities within the area.** * **Comply with Occupational Health and Safety (HSE) legislation and apply established routines.** **REQUIREMENT:** **Minimum GP3 Level 5\.** **ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:** * **Technical degree or Higher Vocational Training (FP II) or equivalent.** **SPECIFIC TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE FOR THIS POSITION:** * **English: Intermediate.** * **Minimum 10 years’ experience in an aerospace HCs environment.** **ADDITIONAL ASSETS:** * **Knowledge of Flight Line environment.** * **Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.** * **Ability to work under pressure.** This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth. **Company:** Airbus Helicopters España, SA **Employment Type:** Permanent \- **Experience Level:** Professional **Job Family:** Leadership \ By submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
