Job Summary: Grupo El Castillo is seeking a Financial Controller to ensure economic and financial control, guaranteeing planning, monitoring, and analysis of results to support decision-making. Participation in feasibility studies for new projects At Grupo El Castillo, we are launching a selection process for a Financial Controller at our headquarters in San Vicente del Raspeig (Alicante). The main mission of this position is to ensure the Group's economic and financial control, guaranteeing accurate planning, monitoring, and analysis of results, providing reliable and strategic information to facilitate decision-making and ensure the economic sustainability of the centers and services managed by the organization. The role requires solid expertise in financial and management accounting, taxation, financial management, and knowledge of legal-commercial and corporate matters, particularly in environments with public funding and multi-center structures. **Responsibilities:** Budgetary Control and Monitoring: * Preparation and consolidation of annual budgets by centers and divisions. * Monthly monitoring of variances (actual vs. budget analysis). * Proposal of corrective measures in response to significant variances. * Control of structural and operational costs. Financial Analysis and Reporting: * Preparation of periodic financial reports for Management. * Profitability analysis by center, project, or business line. * Preparation of economic-financial dashboards. Accounting Control and Closings: * Supervision of proper accounting allocation. * Coordination of monthly and annual accounting closings. * Support during internal and external audits. * Review of provisions, accruals, and adjustments. Funding Control: * Economic monitoring of agreements, grants, and public contracts. * Control of budgetary execution linked to administrative funding. * Preparation of financial documentation for justifications. Optimization and Internal Control: * Implementation and improvement of internal control procedures. * Development of control tools and automation. * Collaboration with HR on labor cost analysis. Strategic Support: * Participation in feasibility studies for new projects. * Economic impact analysis of regulatory changes. * Support to Management in strategic decision-making processes. **Competencies:** * Strong analytical ability. * Results-oriented mindset. * Rigor and precision. * Planning and organizational skills. * Strategic vision. * Confidentiality and professional ethics. **Requirements:** * University degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Finance, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles. * Experience in organizations with public funding. * Experience in budgetary control by cost centers. * Financial accounting. * Advanced Excel. * Accounting ERP (Business Central). **Preferred Qualifications:** * Master’s degree in Financial Management. * Experience in organizations with public funding. * Advanced knowledge of Data Analytics applied to financial environments.
