Description
We are looking for an **Electromechanical Maintenance Technician** through **Wintalent Executive | Engineering & Ops**, capable of performing maintenance, repair, and fault diagnosis on production machinery, integrating into the plant’s maintenance team.

**Salary Range:** €33,000–€35,000 gross per annum.
**What will your day-to-day look like?**
*Machinery Maintenance and Repair*
* Maintenance, repair, and commissioning of production machinery (e.g., saws, CNC milling machines, plate grinders, etc.)
* Diagnosis and correction of mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
* Execution of preventive maintenance according to established schedules
* Analysis and optimization of existing maintenance processes to improve efficiency and machine availability
*Coordination with Manufacturers and Suppliers*
* Coordination of maintenance and repair work with machinery manufacturers and external service partners
* Support during installation and commissioning of new machinery and systems
*Infrastructure Maintenance*
* Maintenance of operational infrastructure (electrical systems, compressed air systems, lighting, minor building repairs)
*Documentation and Collaboration with Production*
* Documentation of all maintenance and repair activities in the system
* Cooperation with production to minimize downtime
* Assumption of production team management duties in the absence of the team leader (employee coordination, ensuring continuity of production processes)
*Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality*
* Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
* Adherence to company occupational health and safety regulations, including proper use of machinery, tools, hazardous substances, and provided personal protective equipment
* Knowledge of and compliance with environmental responsibilities under their scope, including waste management and labeling of chemical and/or hazardous products
**What do you need to succeed?**
* Education: Vocational Training Level I; Vocational Training Level II in Electricity or Mechanics is preferred. Mecatronics training is valued.
* Experience: Minimum 1 year in industrial continuous-process environments, ideally within a maintenance department, with hands-on experience repairing machinery and systems, and understanding operational processes
* Experience in machinery and system commissioning is valued
* Basic office software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are valued
* Experience with CMMS/GMAO systems is valued
* Forklift and elevated platform operator licenses are valued
* Ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics is valued
* Competencies: attention to detail, commitment to order and quality, dedication to work, initiative, and teamwork
**What does this role offer?**
* Location / Work Mode: Besalú area (Girona). On-site
* Personal vehicle required
* Working Hours: Monday–Thursday, 08:00–13:00 and 14:00–17:00 (flexible); Friday, 07:00–14:00
* Contract Type (per company policy): Fixed-term contract (6 + 6 months), with potential conversion to permanent employment
