This position is located within the Infrastructure and Materials division, where we are leaders in the construction and maintenance of various infrastructures, including port and railway facilities. We produce and manufacture construction-cycle materials: asphalt, aggregates, and concrete.
What will you do on a daily basis?
* Carry out the necessary layout surveys on-site for the construction project, based on the initial design.
* Collect and interpret field data and process them using specialized surveying software (DTM, InRoads, etc.).
* Perform modifications, calculations, and quantity take-offs of the initial project using technical design and drafting software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), following instructions from the Site Manager or, as applicable, the Technical Office Manager.
* Conduct required layout surveys, measurements, quantity take-offs, leveling, and topographic surveys to ensure proper progress of the construction work.
* Prepare office-based deliverables using field-generated data as construction progresses.
* Maintain up-to-date topographic information related to the project (drawings, lists, quantity take-offs, etc.) to produce As-Built drawings upon project completion.
What are we looking for?
* University degree in Surveying, Higher Vocational Training (Technical Branch), or at least three years of experience as a surveying assistant.
* Two years of experience performing surveying duties.
* Valid driver's license.
