Junior Architect

At Varo Consulting, we are seeking a Junior Architect to support the management of international pre-construction projects and technical consultancy. The selected candidate will work directly with the Project Manager, collaborating across all project phases and providing support in preparing technical documentation, developing drawings, preparing BOQs, and researching international regulations. We seek a technically proficient candidate with 2–3 years of experience, who is organized, solution-oriented, and capable of working autonomously on assigned tasks, with interest in developing their career within an international environment. Responsibilities ● Prepare project notes and technical reports. ● Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities) from drawings and technical documentation. ● Review and interpret architectural and construction drawings. ● Develop and update drawings in AutoCAD. ● Model and coordinate projects in Revit. ● Research and interpret construction regulations from the UK, the Netherlands, and Nordic countries. ● Manage and maintain project technical documentation. ● Participate in site inspections and snagging. ● Prepare construction progress reports and client documentation. Education ● Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Technical Architecture, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent. Experience ● 2–3 years of experience in architecture, consultancy, engineering, or construction. ● Experience in building project development or space adaptation. ● Experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Mandatory Requirements ● Proficiency in AutoCAD. ● Proficiency in Revit. ● Experience preparing BOQs. ● Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation. ● High level of English (minimum B2; C1 preferred). Desirable ● Knowledge of BIM methodology. ● Experience in technical consultancy.
