Description

We are seeking a Gardening Officer (Second Grade). A temporary full-time contract is offered to cover a vacancy. Prior experience as a gardening officer will be valued, as well as completion of courses or training related to garden maintenance, green areas, and gardening work. \- In the absence of the gardening supervisor, provide instructions and supervise staff assigned to gardening services. \- In the absence of the gardening supervisor, analyze requests for gardening work. \- Collaborate in conducting studies on modifications and improvements to landscaped areas. \- In the absence of the gardening supervisor, implement landscaping projects. \- Request, in the absence of the gardening supervisor and subject to approval by the technical staff of the department, necessary materials; monitor their stock levels to ensure replenishment. \- Carry out necessary maintenance and design work for landscaped spaces. \- Assemble and repair irrigation systems, including sprinklers and automatic systems. \- Prepare chemical mixtures for disinfection and insecticide treatments, and apply them. \- Ensure proper use of equipment. \- Use required manual and mechanical tools. \- Support operational maintenance staff when necessary, and perform any other duties assigned. * Minimum 6 months of experience.
