Our strength lies in our people. **Responsibilities** **At ALDI, we seek a committed and dynamic professional to support the Dispatch Department as Deputy Dispatch Supervisor.** The candidate will be responsible for performing operational duties within the department, supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics processes related to transport and goods dispatch—ensuring deliveries are carried out efficiently, on time, and in full compliance with applicable regulations and established procedures. **Primary Objective:** To contribute to the efficient and timely distribution of products to destination points by providing operational support and helping the team achieve its objectives. ### **Key Responsibilities:** * **Support daily transport activity planning:** Collaborate on organizing routes, schedules, and documentary requirements, considering operational constraints and conditions. * **Coordinate and supervise operational staff:** Assist in managing the transport team to ensure assigned tasks are correctly executed. * **Collaborate on continuous improvement of transport routes:** Suggest optimization opportunities regarding vehicle utilization and fleet usage, in collaboration with the supervisor. * **Supervise loading and organization in the dispatch area:** Ensure loading processes meet quality standards and deadlines, guaranteeing efficient space organization. * **Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations:** Guarantee adherence to established protocols during product transport, coordinating with responsible departments. * **Manage official documentation:** Review and assist in the proper handling of documentation in coordination with transport companies and sales outlets. * **Monitor and report KPIs:** Support tracking of departmental performance indicators, reporting progress and areas for improvement. **Requirements** * Vocational training at intermediate level (or FPI, EGB, ESO or equivalent) * Prior experience in similar positions **What We Offer** * A unique project within ALDI Spain, where the Canary Islands present a logistical challenge involving both land and maritime transport. * Relocation and housing assistance **Contact** ALDI Canarias Supermercados, S.L.U. \- Gran Canaria Avenida Rafael Carrera 10, izq, 1 35002 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Job Reference: ES\_SL02388
