Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified cook or kitchen assistant to prepare delicious dishes according to the menu, delighting our customers with flavor and timely service. Key Highlights: 1. We are looking for a qualified **cook** or **kitchen assistant** to prepare delicious dishes according to the menu. The candidate will be responsible for cooking dishes that delight our customers through taste and timely service. An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions to prepare and serve well-cooked meals in accordance with the Head Chef’s guidelines. They must be capable of operating efficiently in the kitchen and handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Organize workstations with all required ingredients and kitchen equipment * Prepare ingredients for cooking (e.g., chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.) * Cook food using various utensils or griddles * Monitor food while cooking to stir or flip as needed * Ensure excellent presentation by decorating dishes before serving * Maintain a hygienic and orderly kitchen environment * Ensure all food and other products are stored appropriately * Check ingredient quality * Monitor inventory levels and place orders when supplies run low **Requirements** -------------- * Proven experience as a cook/kitchen assistant * Experience using cutting tools, kitchen utensils, and oven trays/containers * Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.) * Ability to follow all sanitary procedures * Ability to work effectively in a team * High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma is preferred * Proven experience in a similar position **We Offer:** * Possibility of shared-room accommodation within the premises. * Work uniform * Daily meals at the staff restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner) * Supplementary training provided by the company as needed **Employment Contract:** * 40 hours/week * Morning and afternoon shifts * Private work-related accident insurance * Annual vacation days according to collective agreement
