ACCIONA, within its Concessions business, needs to incorporate into its Finance and Sustainability team a Sustainability Manager to support national and international projects linked to infrastructure under public-private regimes (PPP). Job Description Mission: Coordinate, schedule and implement the projects he/she leads within his/her operating area, based on established standards and procedures, developing suitable solutions to errors in approach and specific issues of each situation/internal client. They are responsible for the management and communication of sustainability within the organisation and to the shareholders, investors and consumers of the services/products. The duties included are: raising awareness in the organisation of the importance of being sustainable as an organisation; drawing up reports required by the company and interest groups; communicating and publicising sustainability campaigns conducted by the organisation among consumers; planning the environment and sustainability strategy by generating the indicators for tracking it; communications on the progress of the company in the indicators established; relationship with interest groups for communicating and undertaking more measures for achieving a sustainable organisation. Candidate Requirements Mission: Lead the implementation of ACCIONA’s sustainability strategy across all projects and operations within its scope, ensuring compliance with corporate, contractual and regulatory sustainability commitments. Their main mission is to integrate sustainability as a strategic and operational pillar throughout the entire lifecycle of concession projects — from development and financing to operation — contributing to generating sustainable value, reducing risks and strengthening the company's reputation with customers, financiers and communities. The role combines strategic vision, technical capability and cross-functional leadership, acting as a liaison between Corporate Sustainability Strategy, project teams, functional areas (finance, engineering, construction, operations) and local ESG leads in each country. Main Responsibilities:* Asset Management Support: + Integrate ESG criteria into the operation and maintenance of concessions. + Ensure compliance with environmental, social and regulatory commitments in managed assets. + Drive energy efficiency, decarbonization, biodiversity and circular economy projects in operations. + Monitor key performance indicators and continuous improvement strategy focused on defined objectives. + Participate in the development and monitoring of sustainable financing proposals aligned with multilateral banking criteria and standards. * Business Development Support + Incorporate sustainability perspective into tenders, contracts and due diligence processes. + Develop differentiated ESG value propositions to strengthen business competitiveness. + Assess risks and opportunities related to climate change and sustainability in new investments. Quantify impacts and define strategic indicators. * Strategic Sustainability Management: + Deploy corporate sustainability objectives within the Concessions business. + Directly contribute to the development and coordinate the measurement, monitoring and reporting of ESG indicators according to international standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, etc.). Present results. + Collaborate in audits, certifications and ESG compliance. + Collaborate in the development and updating of corporate, business or project procedures. * Stakeholder Engagement: + Maintain dialogue with regulatory bodies, financiers, auditors, local communities and sector associations. + Represent the business in internal and external forums related to sustainability. * Internal Culture and Training: + Promote awareness on sustainability topics within concession teams. + Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, HR and other support areas. Position Requirements* Education: Engineering (preferably Industrial, Energy, Civil or similar) or Sciences.
