We are looking to hire a **Procurement Manager** with strategic vision and analytical capability, focused on optimizing our supply chain within a technically demanding environment. **Job Mission:** Your primary mission will be to ensure the efficient, competitive, and technically, quality- and environmentally compliant supply of all materials, components, equipment, and services required for the company’s railway maintenance, repair, modernization, and installation activities—guaranteeing operational continuity, cost optimization, on-time delivery, and supplier qualification in accordance with railway industry standards and implemented management systems. **Key Objectives and Responsibilities:** * **Supply Assurance:** Ensure full availability of required materials and services for execution of projects and railway maintenance activities, minimizing any risk affecting contracts. * **TCO Optimization:** Manage total acquisition cost while simultaneously ensuring required quality and adherence to delivery schedules. * **Supplier Development:** Continuously identify, qualify, and evaluate strategic national and international suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory and documentary requirements of the sector. * **Operational and ERP Management:** Control the entire procurement workflow using ERP tools (**Navision / Business Central**), procurement control systems, and data analysis in Excel. * **Multidisciplinary Coordination:** Maintain close collaboration with the **Engineering, Quality, Production, Workshop, and Projects** departments for technical and economic comparative analysis. * **Continuous Improvement:** Actively participate in optimizing procurement processes, warehouse flows, and supplier relationships. **Requirements:** **Education:** Technical or University Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or equivalent). Additional training in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics is highly valued. **Experience:** 2–5 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain departments within industrial environments (railway sector strongly preferred), including: national and international procurement management; supplier identification, qualification, and evaluation; price, delivery schedule, and contractual condition negotiation; purchase order management and supply tracking; cost control and procurement optimization; handling supplier incidents; preparation and analysis of technical and economic comparisons; coordination with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations departments; monitoring of procurement and sourcing KPIs; and associated procurement documentation management. **Technical Knowledge and Systems:** * **ERP Management:** Proven experience working with **Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)** or **Dynamics 365 Business Central**. * **Regulatory and Quality Standards:** Practical knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems, as well as specific standards such as **EN 15085** (railway welding) and European technical adhesive requirements. * **Languages:** **Minimum B2 level English** (fluent for international negotiations, contracts, and technical documentation management). * **Materials and Services:** Familiarity with procurement of railway components (electrical, pneumatic, HVAC, interior design, paints) and subcontracting of industrial services (welding, installations, repairs). **Key Competencies:** * Strong negotiation skills and results orientation. * Planning, organization, and excellent prioritization under pressure. * Analytical ability, incident resolution, and continuous improvement mindset. **Other Requirements:** * Valid Class B driver’s license and willingness to undertake occasional national or international travel. **What We Offer:** * Permanent, full-time contract with a stable company in a strategic sector. * Competitive remuneration aligned with experience and value contributed. * Integration into a high-level, multidisciplinary technical team. * Real opportunities for professional development and continuous training.
