Job Summary: We are seeking a receptionist for a hotel, responsible for check-in/check-out, reservation management, customer service, and interdepartmental coordination, with close and personalized interaction. Interdepartmental coordination for an optimal stay We are looking for a receptionist for a hotel in the Onís area (Asturias). Main responsibilities include managing guest check-in and check-out with close and personalized interaction. Inquiries, reservations, and complaints will also be handled via telephone and email, along with coordination with housekeeping, food & beverage, and concierge departments. Proficiency in the hotel property management system (PMS) is required for reservations and billing; provision of tourist information and assistance during the stay; cash handling and collection control at the end of each shift; and strict adherence to quality and safety protocols. Candidates must hold a qualification in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field (Vocational Training or Bachelor’s degree), and have at least one year of experience in hotel reception. A high level of English (B2 or higher) is essential; knowledge of a third language—such as German, French, or Italian—is desirable. Proficiency in office software is required, and experience with a PMS such as Opera or Fidelio is preferred. Availability to work rotating shifts—including weekends and public holidays—is required, along with excellent communication skills and strong customer orientation. The position offers an indefinite employment contract of the fixed-term discontinuous type, full-time working hours, and salary according to the applicable collective agreement.
