The kitchen assistant will be a key player in the day-to-day operations of a company in the food and gourmet sector. Their main responsibility will be to support the kitchen team throughout all stages of food preparation—from the initial steps of recipes to the final finishing of products—always ensuring established quality and presentation standards. The environment is dynamic and requires quick adaptation, as tasks change according to production needs and current orders. Key responsibilities include performing basic culinary tasks such as preparing ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, and following cooking procedures under supervision. It is also essential to maintain an immaculate workspace, which involves thoroughly cleaning and organizing utensils, surfaces, and machinery. This not only guarantees food hygiene and safety but also ensures smooth service flow and enables the rest of the team to work without disruptions. We are seeking a meticulous individual with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. This is a collaborative role where communication and teamwork are essential to achieving objectives. The position offers a temporary contract, full-time from Monday to Friday, with working hours between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m., depending on production requirements. The salary is €10.56 gross per hour. Previous experience in kitchens is required; experience from catering companies or collective dining facilities is especially valued. A valid food handler’s certificate is mandatory. Candidates residing near the location will be prioritized to facilitate onboarding and punctuality.
