Job Summary: We are seeking a kitchen assistant for a residential center to support food preparation, HACCP system management, and maintenance of quality and hygiene standards. Rotating morning and afternoon shifts We are looking for a kitchen assistant for a residential center, with a temporary contract and an 80% work schedule on rotating morning and afternoon shifts. Immediate start required. Duties include assisting with receipt and storage of orders, collaborating in HACCP system management to ensure critical point control, preparing and cooking meals alongside the chef, as well as plating and loading trolleys with established menus. It is also necessary to ensure quality standards from receipt through to service, and to keep kitchens, cold rooms, storerooms, and utensils clean and disinfected according to the cleaning plan. A minimum of six months’ experience as a kitchen assistant is required, preferably in a hospital or elderly care residence. Specific training in cooking, food handling, and use of cleaning chemicals is valued, as well as complementary courses related to this field.
