Specifically, this position covers the mobile recycling center and the OSGRE (Urban Solid Waste Collection Office). **SUBSTITUTIONS:** **Location:** GIRONA ***1\. Mobile Recycling Center Substitution*** * Period: from 20/07/2026 to 11/08/2026 * Full-time: 40 hours per week. * Schedule: 10:00–18:00, Monday to Friday * Contract type: Temporary ***2\. OSGRE Substitution*** * Period: from 13/07/2026 to 31/07/2026 * Part-time: 30 hours per week. * Schedule: 09:00–15:00, Monday to Friday * Contract type: Temporary ***3\. OSGRE \+ Mobile Recycling Center Substitution*** * Period: from 24/08/2026 to 22/09/2026 * Part-time: 30 hours per week * OSGRE schedule: from 24/08 to 11/09, 09:00–15:00, Monday to Friday (30-hour weekly schedule) * Mobile recycling center schedule: from 14/09 to 22/09, 10:00–18:00, Monday to Friday (40-hour weekly schedule) * Contract type: Temporary **Job Responsibilities** **OSGRE** * Citizen assistance and advisory services: Serve as the primary in-person and telephone contact point for residents, resolving questions regarding the operation, schedules, and regulations of the new collection model. * Material and inventory management: Coordinate the delivery, registration, and return of bins, certified bags, or magnetic cards, ensuring accurate stock control and correct assignment to each household. * Complaint and incident resolution: Address citizen complaints or objections, register incidents in the system, and channel them to technical teams for prompt resolution. * Administrative support and data registration: Enter and update user and material delivery data in the IT platform, ensuring full service traceability. (This would be the ideal additional task to complete the profile.) **MOBILE RECYCLING CENTER** * Waste management and sorting: Receive, monitor, and correctly classify materials brought by users, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and optimizing recycling rates. * Citizen assistance and incident management: Advise citizens, resolve questions about service operations, and efficiently manage any incidents that may arise. * Actively participate in the rollout and implementation process of Girona’s new municipal waste management system. * Operation of the itinerant service: Manage and promote Girona’s mobile recycling centers, bringing recycling points closer to various neighborhoods across the city. **Requirements** * Minimum 6 months’ experience. Experience in environmental education and other awareness campaigns will be valued. * Bachelor’s degree or higher vocational training qualification in environmental sciences, biology, geology, or related fields. * Catalan (spoken B2 – advanced, written B2 – advanced) * Driver’s license: B Work Location: On-site employment
