At **Ironhack**, in collaboration with companies and corporate training programs, we are seeking a **BI and Data Analytics Specialist Trainer**. Your mission will be to lead training initiatives targeting young professionals who need to develop analytical competencies applied to business decision-making. The primary objective is to equip participants with business-oriented data analysis skills, proficiency in BI tools, and the ability to communicate executive insights—replicating the working methodology of a consulting firm and preparing students to solve real-world business cases using data. We seek an expert profile on a **freelance basis** for a training project that includes both delivering training sessions and adapting, reviewing, and improving academic content—bringing practical insights grounded in professional consulting experience. **Your Responsibilities** ------------------------- * **Deliver in-person training sessions** related to Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. * **Guide participants** in solving real business cases using Excel, SQL, and Power BI. * **Adapt training content** to the specific needs of each participant group. * **Review, update, and improve** didactic materials and academic content developed by Ironhack. * **Design hands-on activities** based on real consulting projects. * **Mentor and tutor** students throughout the development of individual and collaborative projects, including academic progress tracking. * **Manage required academic documentation** (attendance records, assessments, progress tracking, and learning evidence). * **Collaborate closely** with the academic and operations teams to ensure the smooth delivery of training activities. **Program Overview (Suggested Topics)** ---------------------------------------- * Business Intelligence applied to business decision-making. * Analytical methodologies used in consulting projects. * Data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory data analysis. * Advanced Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting. * SQL applied to business analysis and data integration (SQL, Excel, and Power BI). * Data modeling, executive dashboard creation in Power BI, and KPI definition. * Data storytelling and executive communication using PowerPoint. * Use of Artificial Intelligence to accelerate data analysis, generate SQL queries, automate tasks, and enhance productivity. * End\-to\-end project development simulating a real consulting engagement. **What We’re Looking For (Requirements)** ------------------------------- * **Education:** University degree or Higher Vocational Training qualification in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines. * **Teaching Experience:** Accredited pedagogical or teaching training and demonstrable experience delivering training in Data Analytics, BI, or analytical tools. * **Industry Experience:** Minimum 2 years of professional experience in consulting, participating in BI, Data Analytics, Data Strategy, Reporting, or Digital Transformation projects. * **Tech Stack:** Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Power BI. * **Key Skills:** Experience designing executive dashboards, defining business metrics, and presenting analytical results to clients or executive committees. * **Soft Skills:** Excellent communication skills, group facilitation abilities, and capacity to adapt technical content to diverse knowledge levels. ### **Bonus Points (Desirable)** * Experience delivering training programs for youth, bootcamps, universities, or tech-focused training centers. * Experience delivering corporate training or upskilling programs for professionals. * Prior experience at consulting firms such as EY, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, Capgemini, NTT DATA, Minsait, Sopra Steria, or similar. **Project Conditions** ---------------------------- * **Engagement Model:** Freelance collaboration. * **Location:** In-person training at the client’s offices in Madrid. * **Duration:** Intensive 3-week program (September 14 to October 6). * **Schedule:** Monday–Thursday, 09:00–18:00; Friday, 09:00–15:00.
