We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Go / Cloud Platforms) to join one of our engineering teams working on cloud platforms. You will contribute to the design, development, testing, and evolution of scalable, reliable backend systems built with solid engineering principles in mind. This is a long-term position aimed at strengthening the team with an engineer who brings strong backend experience, sound technical judgment, a robust quality mindset, and ownership of solutions—not just execution. The ideal candidate feels comfortable not only building software but also ensuring its quality through automated testing and continuous validation practices. You will work in a collaborative Agile environment alongside other engineers, contributing to technical decisions and the continuous improvement of our platforms. **What will be your role?** ---------------------- * Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs. * Contribute to technical decisions with an engineering mindset and solid technical criteria. * Build, evolve, and refactor backend components with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and reliability. * Design, implement, and maintain automated tests, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests where appropriate. * Work with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. * Collaborate closely with other engineers to design and integrate distributed services. * Ensure code quality through clean coding practices, code reviews, automated tests, and CI/CD pipelines. * Contribute to maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes. * Manage application dependencies and artifacts using repository management solutions such as Artifactory. * Participate in problem-solving initiatives, root cause analysis, and quality improvement. * Leverage modern AI-support tools throughout the development lifecycle to optimize coding, testing, and troubleshooting workflows. * Take ownership of delivered features from design through testing and production deployment. * Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuously improve engineering practices. Your profile: * 10+ years of experience * At least 2 years of experience with Go (**OR** solid Java experience combined with React)—a key requirement. * Experience building and maintaining APIs and backend services. * Practical experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, and/or end-to-end). * Strong understanding of software quality practices, testing strategies, and test automation within modern CI/CD environments. * Experience working with CI/CD systems, preferably GitHub Actions. * Familiarity with software delivery pipelines, build automation, and deployment processes. * Experience managing and consuming artifacts from artifact repositories such as Artifactory. * Experience creating and testing applications (vitest, react testing library, happy-dom, playwright) and feature flags. * An engineering profile with strong technical judgment and solution-oriented thinking. * Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. * Comfortable working in English in a professional setting. * Based in Spain. **What you’ll love about working here** ----------------------------------- You’ll work in an environment that values trust and autonomy Virtual campuses: training in GenAI, Cloud, Data, Sustainability...
