Continuous professional development through diverse projects At INTERTEK, we are looking for **mechanical inspectors** with experience to carry out ad hoc inspections at various clients located across Catalonia. Main responsibilities include technical supervision, quality verification during manufacturing and assembly, and preparation of reports compliant with applicable regulations and client specifications. We seek self-employed, organized professionals with availability to travel within the region. **Requirements** * Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior), or equivalent * Prior experience in mechanical inspection (welding, structures, valves, pressure equipment, etc.) * Knowledge of applicable standards (EN, ASME, ISO, etc.) * Ability to draft technical reports in Spanish (English is also valued) * Valid EU driving license (Class B) and willingness to travel Desirable: Welding courses, certifications (VT, PT, MT), experience conducting third-party inspections * **Benefits** Freelance / project-based collaboration with flexible working hours Opportunity to work with industry-leading clients Diverse projects enabling continuous professional development Technical and operational support from our team Competitive remuneration based on experience and scope of each inspection
