Job Summary:
We are seeking an engineer for electrical and electromechanical maintenance of railway units, ensuring operational continuity and safety through fault diagnosis and resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnosis and resolution of electrical faults to minimize disruptions.
2. Contribution to continuous improvement and application of new technologies.
3. Interpretation of technical drawings and documentation in industrial maintenance.
We are looking for a candidate to join the maintenance team in Las Rozas de Madrid, focusing on the electrical and electromechanical systems of railway units. The primary objective is to ensure maximum operational continuity and safety by performing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults, analyzing failures and implementing effective solutions to minimize disruptions. They will also participate in supervising technical interventions, ensuring compliance with procedures and safety regulations. Contributions to the continuous improvement of electrical systems and the application of new technologies will be valued. Interpretation of technical drawings and documentation will form part of daily duties.
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering or a related field is required, along with at least 3 years’ experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within the railway sector. Strict adherence to quality, safety, and environmental protocols is essential. Preparing detailed technical reports and recording maintenance interventions will be key responsibilities. Temporary contract, part-time position.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3 years’ demonstrable experience in electrical maintenance, ideally in the railway sector or related industries (automotive, energy, transportation, etc.). Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems. Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and electromechanical faults. Proficiency in interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics. Familiarity with safety and quality regulations applicable to industrial maintenance. Analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and capacity to work effectively in teams within dynamic environments. English level B2. Understanding of the Company’s operational objectives, strategic lines, strategy, policies, guidelines, and procedures as applied to their department. Ability to implement actions derived from established action plans.
