Description
\- Planning, organizing, and implementing educational, occupational, and stimulation activities tailored to the needs of service users.
* Designing and applying music therapy sessions as a tool for cognitive, emotional, sensory, and well-being stimulation.
* Coordinating and monitoring Individualized Support Plans (ISPs), participating in their development, evaluation, and updating alongside the interdisciplinary team.
* Observing, recording, and assessing the progress of service users, reporting incidents and proposing improvements.
* Promoting personal autonomy, social skills, and active participation in center activities.
* Organizing, planning, and accompanying users on community, cultural, and leisure outings.
* Driving and using the center's van for the safe transportation of service users during scheduled activities and outings.
* Coordinating with families, professionals, and community resources to ensure comprehensive, person-centered care.
* Preparing, adapting, and maintaining materials, spaces, and resources required for activity implementation.
* Developing and implementing workshops adapted to the interests of service users.
* And all other duties inherent to the position as assigned by the center's management.
### **Requirements**
\- Valid driver's license class B1.
* Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education with a specialization in Therapeutic Pedagogy (Special Education).
* Training in music therapy.
* Training and/or experience with new digital and didactic tools.
* Additional training in augmentative and alternative communication methods, Spanish Sign Language (LSE), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), person-centered planning, and/or management of challenging behaviors is desirable.
* Proficiency in office software.
* Minimum one year of demonstrable direct-care experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities in a similar role, plus experience in music therapy.
