Description

The position involves providing psychological services at a day center for older adults. The selected candidate will conduct psychological assessments—both initial assessments for new admissions and periodic assessments for current users—with the aim of designing a personalized care plan and monitoring their progress. This is direct work with older adults, applying knowledge of general health psychology within a socio-healthcare setting. Key responsibilities include planning and implementing psychological intervention programs tailored to the group. Basic Activities of Daily Living (BADLs) will also be supervised to support autonomy and functional well-being. Furthermore, recreational and cognitive stimulation activities will be prepared and coordinated to promote mental health. Another key function is maintaining close communication with families, offering emotional support and information. The work takes place at a specialized center for the care of older and dependent individuals, with a focus on comprehensive care. A university degree in Psychology and the Master’s in General Health Psychology are required. The contract is temporary, full-time, Monday through Friday, morning shift from 10:00 to 18:00, to cover a vacation period. University degree in Psychology completed in Spain or officially recognized for use in Spanish territory. Master’s in General Health Psychology. Experience in similar positions will be valued, as well as a disability certificate equal to or greater than 33%, recognized incapacity, or official documentation certifying membership in a vulnerable group.
