MAINTENANCE WORKER

A senior residence in Gavà is seeking 1 maintenance worker. TASKS: preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities; basic repairs (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and locksmithing); equipment and incident monitoring; furniture and outdoor area maintenance. REQUIREMENTS: Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO). A Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) in Maintenance, Electricity, Electromechanics, Air Conditioning, or similar is desirable. Driving license B. Experience in building maintenance is desirable. OFFERS: temporary contract (6 months), full-time position. Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9–13:30 and 15–18 h; alternate Saturdays and holidays (10–12 h). Gross salary: €1,250/month *14 payments. \- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of the center's facilities. \- Perform basic repairs in electricity, plumbing, carpentry, and locksmithing. \- Inspect and monitor climate control, heating, hot water, and lighting systems. \- Monitor and maintain the center's equipment and facilities. \- Supervise safety systems, including fire prevention, alarm, and emergency systems. \- Ensure preservation and good condition of furniture, rooms, and common areas. \- Maintain gardens and outdoor spaces. \- Manage and track incidents and breakdowns. \- Coordinate with external maintenance companies when necessary. * Spanish (intermediate spoken, intermediate written) * Competencies / knowledge: A Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) in Maintenance, Electricity, Electromechanics, Air Conditioning, or similar is desirable.
