We are seeking a kitchen assistant to work at a residence in Balaguer, Spain. The ideal candidate should be proactive, passionate about gastronomy, and capable of maintaining pace in a dynamic environment. They will serve as the fundamental support of the culinary team, ensuring ingredients are prepared, workspaces remain immaculate, and daily operations run efficiently. Responsibilities include assisting in menu preparation, ingredient preparation, plating, cleaning and hygiene, quality control, and inventory management. Prior experience as a kitchen assistant, familiarity with food hygiene and safety protocols, and a food handling certificate are required. High-level comprehension of Catalan or Spanish is also required. The contract is temporary, with part-time hours at 50% or 65%, on rotating shifts covering mornings, afternoons, and weekends. Compensation is proportional to working hours, with potential for contract extension, access to exclusive discounts, ongoing training, and psychological support services.
