AXF Natural is a biotechnology startup developing a sustainable microalgae production project in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands. We are designing and preparing a technical production site that will combine buildings, photobioreactor fields, tanks, service areas, access routes, fencing, utilities and supporting infrastructure. We are looking for a **Project Architect** to support the design, permitting, technical coordination and practical execution of the project on site. This is a practical, construction-oriented role. We are looking for someone who can turn the project concept into drawings, construction solutions, technical documentation and practical execution decisions. The person will work closely with engineers, consultants, contractors and the internal AXF Natural team. Key responsibilities * Coordinate the design of buildings, photobioreactor fields, tanks, access routes, fencing, utilities and service areas. * Prepare drawings and technical documentation for permits, contractors and construction. * Review constructability aspects, including access, clearances, drainage, foundations, doors, equipment bases and maintenance areas. * Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, environmental consultants, contractors and external technicians. * Support the development of phased construction plans and future expansion plans. * Supervise practical execution on site together with contractors, technicians and the internal team. * Help ensure that the site design is functional, buildable, maintainable and aligned with the operational needs of the project. * Support technical communication with public authorities when necessary. Profile * Qualified architect, ideally able to sign projects in Spain and/or registered as colegiado/a. * Experience with rural, industrial, agricultural, technical or production-related buildings. * Strong CAD/AutoCAD skills. * Practical understanding of construction, not only design. * Ability to work with engineers, contractors, consultants and public authorities. * Precise, practical, solution-oriented and field-oriented working style. * Ability to work in an early-stage project where some information may still evolve. * Spanish required; English useful. * Availability to work on site in Fuerteventura.
