**1. Description and workplace location** Waste collection driver (D) Environmental Services of Vallès Oriental Camí Ral, S/N, 08401 Granollers 30,365.74 € temporary 37.5 weekly hours **2. Participation requirements and admission conditions** **2.1 General requirements to be admitted** a) Possession of a **C1 driving licence**, or higher, and the Certificate of Professional Competence (**Driver CPC**) for professional drivers, both valid. b) Availability and flexibility to perform **rotating shifts**, and to work **weekends or public holidays**, as implied by the position. **2.2 Specific requirements that will earn points during the evaluation phase** a) One year’s experience in the waste sector performing waste collection services. b) Two years’ experience in the services, transport, or logistics sector involving driving vehicles with a gross vehicle weight exceeding 3,500 kg (trucks, coaches, buses, etc.) in urban areas. c) Two years’ experience in the services, transport, or logistics sector involving driving vehicles with a gross vehicle weight under 3,500 kg (vans, pickup trucks, etc.) in urban areas. **3. Job responsibilities** · Driving specialized waste collection or haulage vehicles: cranes trucks, compacting trucks, box trucks, box vans, and street sweepers. · Following assigned routes and circuits set by the supervisor and company management. · Ensuring the assistant(s) carry out their tasks efficiently and with minimal physical effort, facilitating waste collection at locations where citizens have deposited it. · Ensuring proper vehicle maintenance, complying with established safety regulations and best practices. · Reporting waste collection incidents to the supervisor. · Assisting in the collection of waste, bulky items, scrap metal, used oil, and other waste assimilable to municipal waste. · Complying with established safety regulations and best practices. · Proposing improvements to optimize collections, streamline routes, or enhance the quality of selective collection. · Completing work sheets and truck inspection sheets; identifying and reporting incidents to the technical department.
