Description
**We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join the** **Information Technologies Department** **of the Catholic University of Valencia San Vicente Mártir.**
We are currently transforming our entire application ecosystem: we are leading the re\-engineering of a legacy .NET environment into a modern, web-based, microservices architecture. You will be part of a development team working with cutting-edge market tools (Azure DevOps, Claude Code) and will participate in building web portals and services that integrate and connect our applications with leading market platforms (CRM, ERP), serving a community of over 15\.000 users including staff, faculty, and students. A long-term technical project with real impact and top-tier technology.
**Responsibilities:**
* Design technical solutions and application and integration architectures.
* Develop complex components and critical functionalities.
* Define and ensure compliance with development, testing, documentation, and security standards.
* Lead code reviews and guarantee quality and maintainability.
* Design and drive CI/CD pipelines.
* Apply security-by-design principles (OWASP, access control, etc.).
* Analyze complex incidents and perform root cause analysis.
* Document architectures, APIs, and technical procedures.
* Technically mentor and support other developers.
* Collaborate with external vendors on integrations and technical reviews.
* Provide technical advice to functional managers and the IT Directorate.
**Requirements:**
* Degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
* English proficiency at B2 / C1 level is desirable.
**We offer:**
* Permanent contract.
* Full-time schedule of 37\.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. During summer months, an intensive schedule applies (35 hours per week). Possibility of one remote workday per week.
