Job highlights * Castrillon, Asturias, Spain Job IDAH237526Closing date16/09/2026Last Updated02/09/2026 **FUNCTIONS** Coordinate and oversee the Human Resources policy derived from individual and collective labor relations, in accordance with criteria established by the General Management and Metallurgical Operations, and in compliance with current legal regulations, ensuring adherence and contributing to maintaining an appropriate working environment. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Analyze, identify, and classify the organization’s training needs. * Develop the annual training program, following coordination and communication with all involved parties. * Deliver training and/or define necessary actions, evaluate their effectiveness, and inform staff of their importance in achieving organizational objectives. * Maintain required records related to training, skills, and experience. * Implement Human Resources development policies regarding recruitment, training, compensation, performance management, promotion, etc. * Participate in hiring and onboarding of new personnel, as well as in negotiations concerning contract suspensions or terminations. * Negotiate and maintain relationships with the Workers’ Committee and trade union organizations. * Represent the company before official bodies, including UMAC and Labor Courts. * Supervise and coordinate administrative personnel management. * Prepare and disseminate documentation for the Management System. * Ensure personnel under supervision are adequately trained. * Propose the Department’s annual budget to Management and monitor its execution. * Comply with internal requirements regarding Sustainable Development and Quality defined in current documentation. * Ensure compliance with Glencore’s Anti-Harassment Policies. * Apply the Company’s Values, Code of Conduct, and policies. * Fulfill responsibilities assigned in relation to closure plans. **REQUIREMENTS** * University degree (Bachelor’s or higher). * Minimum 5 years’ experience qualifying the candidate to perform the described functions. * Training in Social Responsibility and Commitment. * Knowledge of Human Resources management techniques, labor legislation, and the labor market. * Advanced English proficiency. * Knowledge and experience in managing Human Resources using the Workday platform. **GENERAL COMPETENCIES** * Developing team members. * Negotiation skills. * Team motivation. * Organization. * Orientation toward internal/external customers. * Planning. * Interpersonal sensitivity. * Decision-making.
