Design, build, and maintain GraphQL APIs using FastAPI and Strawberry ### **Job description** I’m reaching you from Taleo, an international financial consulting company, with presence in 10 countries, and a team of \+500 consultants delivering services to \+ 100 financial entities. We are seeking a Python Developer, based in Madrid or Barcelona (hybrid) tobridge the gap between user\-facing AI applications and core system infrastructure by building and maintaining robust server\-side services, databases, and GraphQL APIs that enable secure, high\-performing, scalable generative AI solutions across Azure. Your Key Responsibilities and Duties: 1\. Integrate AI and LLM APIs into backend services, managing data flow and optimizing response latency. 2\. Design, build, and maintain GraphQL APIs using FastAPI and Strawberry to serve frontend applications and internal services. 3\. Architect relational database schemas and manage version\-controlled migrations to ensure data integrity and high query performance; collaborate with DevOps/MLOps to containerize and deploy services across Azure, monitoring production performance and optimizing for speed and cost. Your skills \& background: Minimum Experience in Backend Development, Software Engineering, or Systems Architecture Technical Skills / Tools LLM/AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and secure tool/data integration via Model Context Protocol (MCP). Python FastAPI GraphQL (Strawberry) SQL and relational database design SQLAlchemy (or similar ORM) Git Docker CI/CD fundamentals; monitoring and performance optimization English Collaboration and clear communication Ownership and proactivity Strong problem\-solving; attention to security and reliability Willingness to learn and improve through feedback.
