**LABOR MARKET COUNSELOR** **For the center located in Viladecans, operated by Fundació Gentis** **Fundació Gentis** is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing **employability**, and fostering **competency-based, emotional, and social development** among the most disadvantaged groups. At Gentis, we drive the mechanism for achieving **full social inclusion**, through community action, training, mentoring, mediation, family support, and psychological and therapeutic intervention. **Key responsibilities:** We are seeking a labor market counseling professional to carry out counseling tasks within the MAIS program. **What will you be responsible for?** * Welcoming participants * Promoting participants’ integration into the labor market and supporting job retention * Mediating between labor supply and demand * Assessing employability improvement pathways * Management and coordination * Cross-cutting tasks **What competencies are we looking for?** * Ability to convey module content clearly and meaningfully * Respect for children’s and youth’s dignity regardless of their origin or cultural background * Objectivity and ability to maintain optimal professional distance, while establishing positive affective bonds that support adolescents’ personal growth * Proficiency in office software and remote pedagogical resources * Ability to work both individually and in groups * Empathy to better understand others * Capacity to respond promptly to unforeseen situations * Crisis and conflict management skills * Creativity and ability to manage available resources effectively * Ability to work under pressure * Knowledge of labor department program management tools (GIA, Galileu applications) **What qualifications must you have?** Degree in Psychology, Pedagogy, or Psychopedagogy Or, alternatively, at least 5 years of experience in labor market counseling Familiarity with the local area Experience in labor orientation programs and management tools (Galileu) * Staff involved in counseling and labor prospecting must possess gender perspective training, aimed at ensuring labor insertion free from sexist stereotypes and aligned with the competency-based employability model. **We offer:** * **1 stable full-time labor market counselor position** * **Working hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:00–15:00, plus one afternoon per week from 15:30 to 18:00 * **Intensive schedule** from 8:00 to 15:30 during **summer**, plus one hybrid workday per week * Salary: €25,518.86/year gross * **Start date:** Immediate **Join our team and enjoy unique benefits!** At Fundació Gentis, we care for our team as much as we care for the people we serve.
