Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist in a geriatric residence to train and maintain activities of daily living, participate in leisure activities, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Participate in the center's general activity plan.
2. Carry out interventions specific to Occupational Therapy.
3. Collaborate in training and information programs for families.
Occupational Therapist – Geriatric Residence
\- Participate in the center's general activity plan. \- Carry out interventions specific to Occupational Therapy, including training, maintenance, and development of basic and instrumental activities of daily living, work, education, leisure, and social participation. As well as rehabilitation/habilitation of service users, recovery and/or maintenance of their abilities to interact with the environment or perform occupational activities, and the design, adaptation, and training in the use of orthoses, prostheses, and assistive devices. \- Participate in the leisure and free-time areas for service users at the center. \- Participate, together with the rest of the multidisciplinary team, in the assessment and follow-up of the recovery or care process of the center's service users. \- Collaborate, within their area of competence (rehabilitation of occupational areas, prescription of assistive devices, adaptations, accessibility, ergonomics, joint economy, functional mobilization, and information to families of institutional service users), in training and information programs for families of service users.
* Minimum 6 months of experience. Experience must be verifiable with dependent individuals.
* Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
* Temporary employment contract (9 months)
* Part-time position (25 hours \- weekly schedule)
