Mechanical Facilities Engineer (Data Center)

We are currently seeking a **Senior Mechanical Facilities Engineer** to join our **Data Center team** at our offices in **Barcelona or Madrid**. We are looking for an experienced, proactive individual eager to continue professional development in a rapidly growing sector offering significant future opportunities. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Management of Data Center and Life Science facility projects, from preliminary and basic design through to detailed engineering * Client advisory during the initial project phase * Managing client requirements and coordinating needs with team members * Defining conceptual mechanical installation design criteria, preliminary sizing, calculation, and technical documentation for the installations to be developed * Supporting Construction Management in document control and in monitoring execution, testing, and commissioning **REQUIREMENTS** * Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering * Over 8 years of experience in designing and calculating mechanical installations (HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, sanitation, gas, etc.) for buildings, ideally in Data Centers * In-depth knowledge of Spanish Technical Building Code (CTE), Thermal Installations in Buildings Regulation (RITE), Fire Protection Installations Regulation (RIPCI), and Industrial Fire Safety Regulation (RSCIEI) * Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is highly desirable * Advanced level of English **WE OFFER** * A positive working environment, an ethical and transparent company focused on people * A stable full-time position * Competitive salary commensurate with experience and expertise * Profit-sharing scheme * Flexible compensation plan * Flexible working hours and remote work options (hybrid model) * The opportunity to join an innovative multinational firm, with experts collaborating worldwide
