**Maintenance Technician**
**Department:** Maintenance
**Reports to:** Hotel Management / Maintenance Manager
**Job Mission:**
Ensure the proper operation, preservation, and safety of the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and infrastructure by performing preventive, corrective, and technical maintenance tasks, guaranteeing compliance with current regulations and contributing to delivering an excellent guest experience.
**Main Responsibilities**
**Preventive Maintenance**
* Execute the hotel’s preventive maintenance plan for facilities.
* Conduct periodic inspections of equipment and installations.
* Inspect HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, kitchens, carpentry, and locksmithing.
* Monitor the condition of machinery, tools, and technical equipment.
* Record all maintenance actions in maintenance reports.
**Corrective Maintenance**
* Diagnose and repair malfunctions in facilities and equipment.
* Respond to incidents reported by reception, kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments.
* Perform minor repairs in masonry, painting, carpentry, electricity, and plumbing.
* Coordinate external contractors’ interventions when necessary.
**Technical Installations**
* Supervise low-voltage electrical installations.
* Monitor HVAC, domestic hot water (DHW), and hot water sanitation systems.
* Inspect pressure booster sets, pumps, electrical panels, and lighting.
* Verify proper elevator operation (in coordination with the maintenance contractor).
**Legionella Control**
* Carry out assigned tasks within the Legionella prevention and control program, in accordance with current regulations.
* Perform scheduled temperature checks, flushing, cleaning, and record-keeping.
* Collaborate with specialized companies for treatments and laboratory analyses.
**Document Management**
* Complete maintenance logs.
* Keep the inventory of tools and spare parts up to date.
* Report material procurement needs.
**Customer Service**
* Act with discretion and professionalism during interventions in occupied areas.
* Minimize the impact of maintenance work on guest experience.
* Collaborate with other departments to resolve incidents promptly.
**Requirements**
**Education**
* Vocational training in Maintenance, Electricity, Electromechanics, Installations, or related fields.
* Specialized training in the following areas is desirable: Legionella prevention and control; Occupational Risk Prevention; Low-voltage systems; HVAC (RITE).
**Experience**
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in comprehensive maintenance of hotels, buildings, or similar facilities.
* Experience in boutique hotels or small-to-medium-sized establishments is valued.
**Technical Knowledge**

**Conditions**
* Employment contract governed by the Málaga Province Hospitality Collective Agreement.
* Working hours according to organizational needs and hotel scheduling.
* Availability to respond to urgent incidents when required by service organization.
* Immediate start or as per candidate availability.

Salary: €1,800.00–€2,091.57 per month
