Achieve extraordinary things by joining our team and make a difference in your professional development, in the community, and around the world!** **Purpose of the Position:** Ensure implementation of the company's corrective and preventive maintenance plan for facilities and equipment. Act, per instructions from their direct supervisor, to repair failures arising during the production process. **Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and facilities. * Resolve mechanical, electrical, or other types of failures and incidents in machinery and facilities. * Identify and report required spare parts to resolve pending failures. * Ensure communication and documentation of all actions taken, enabling subsequent analysis. * Comply with applicable Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management regulations for the Electromechanical Technician position. **Required Knowledge and Experience:** * ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires minimum qualifications equivalent to a Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS). However, substantial practical experience—6 months—may compensate for a lower academic level. * OTHER CERTIFICATIONS: Forklift operator license, electric and manual pallet truck license/diploma, elevated work platform license/diploma, and high-altitude work license/diploma. * SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Familiarity with production line machinery and understanding of their operation. * Knowledge of the scope of standards governing the company’s Integrated Management System (if the incumbent does not possess such knowledge upon joining, the company will provide necessary information and training to acquire it): + ISO 9001 + ISO 14001 + BRCGS for Food Safety + OFFICE SOFTWARE: Computer literacy for using maintenance management software. + LANGUAGES: English proficiency at Level B is required to perform this role. + EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance departments within industrial companies. * #### **Ball Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
