Job Summary: We are seeking a lifeguard for the Municipal Outdoor Swimming Pool of Olesa de Montserrat, responsible for ensuring user safety and preventing accidents. Key Responsibilities: 1. Active and constant surveillance of swimming areas 2. Intervention and rescue in emergency situations 3. Ability to react promptly and provide public service The Municipal Outdoor Swimming Pool of Olesa de Montserrat is seeking lifeguards registered with ROPEC (Official Register of Sports Professionals of Catalonia) for the summer season. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring user safety, preventing accidents, and responding swiftly and effectively in emergencies. Active and constant surveillance of swimming areas. Accident prevention and enforcement of regulations. Intervention and rescue in emergency situations. Provision of first aid when necessary. Capacity control and support in venue organization. Basic maintenance of order and cleanliness in the pool area. * Minimum 1 year of experience. Valid registration with ROPEC (Official Register of Sports Professionals of Catalonia). Official Aquatic Lifeguard certification. First aid certificate and AED usage certification. Good physical condition and quick reaction capability. Responsibility, attentiveness, and strong interpersonal skills. * Valuable prior experience in public swimming pools or similar facilities * Higher Vocational Training Diploma (FP Grado Superior) \- Physical Activity and Sports * Temporary employment contract (3 months) * Full-time working hours * Gross monthly salary ranging from '1400' to '1500' * Additional information: Temporary contract during the summer season.
