Industrial Continuous Improvement Engineer

B. Braun Surgical is seeking to hire an Industrial Processes Engineer specializing in Continuous Improvement, focused primarily on reducing process waste from industrial equipment within the Maintenance Department at its headquarters in Rubí.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute assigned industrial improvement projects aligned with operational and strategic needs defined by Industrial Operations Management
Propose technical and productivity improvements agreed upon with involved departments (Production, Engineering, Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, etc.)
Monitor implemented improvements
Propose necessary modifications to Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of Production Equipment
List required spare parts to maintain implemented modifications
Update documentation for these improvements and train relevant personnel
Ensure adherence to the improvement project schedule, budget/investment, final agreed-upon technical solutions, and applicable regulatory requirements
Monitor organization-defined KPIs/Goals
Carry out and document completed projects per internal procedures regarding documentation (project initiation, justification, budgeting and procurement, Change Control, Validations, Standard Operating Procedures, training, etc.)
Requirements
Industrial Technical Engineer, preferably with a Mechanical background and experience in Process Automation.
**Minimum Experience:** 5 years in the role; pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred
**Desirable Knowledge Areas:**
Industrial Automation
Machine Vision Systems (Cognex)
Touchscreens and HMI Systems
Pneumatics, Mechanics, Robotics (Staubli, Mitsubishi, ABB, Fanuc, etc.)
Conveyor Systems and Industrial Automation (AGVs)
Statistical Tools (Minitab, Six Sigma)
SCADA Control Systems (WinCC and Wonderware)
**Knowledge of various machinery types:** Packaging, Sealing, Printing (Drop-on-Demand, Thermal Transfer, Flexographic)
Spoken and written English
Willingness to travel internationally
Proficiency in SAP and office software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, etc.)
Familiarity with ISO, FDA, OHSAS, and Occupational Risk Prevention regulations
