Job Summary: Reporting to the Fishmonger Manager, you will be responsible for receiving, displaying, and handling fish, ensuring freshness and quality. Key Highlights: 1. Knowledge of fish species, knife handling, and fishmonger machinery As part of the store team and reporting to the Fishmonger Market Manager, your responsibilities will include: * Daily receipt of goods (fish), ensuring quality and freshness upon entry. * Displaying fish and arranging the counter in the most attractive manner possible. * Restocking fish and materials used in its preparation and sale (ice, bags, paper, labels, etc.). * Placing fish in trays (tray packing) and performing product handling. * Cleaning, organizing, and supervising fish-handling tools and equipment, as well as maintaining facilities (chill rooms and drains).
