Description
We are seeking an Educational Counselor to join a socio-educational project in the La Mina neighborhood, aimed at adolescents and young people in situations of vulnerability and at risk of social exclusion. The selected candidate will carry out individualized accompaniment, guidance, and educational support activities, with the aim of promoting young people’s personal, academic, and socio-professional development, thereby fostering their social inclusion and equal opportunities.
Provide individualized educational, personal, and socio-professional guidance. Design personalized support pathways adapted to each young person’s needs. Identify educational and social needs and establish intervention plans. Monitor training processes, labor insertion, and personal development. Coordinate with educational centers, social services, local organizations, and other community resources. Facilitate group activities and workshops aimed at developing personal, social, and pre-employment competencies. Encourage motivation, autonomy, participation, and empowerment among young people. Prepare follow-up reports and maintain intervention records.

* Competencies / knowledge: Valued: Additional training in vocational guidance, mediation, conflict resolution, or community intervention. Experience in programs preventing school dropout, socio-professional integration, or working with young people at risk of social exclusion. Knowledge of the local network of educational and social resources. Practical knowledge of XALOC

* Other relevant information: Contract: 1 month during July, followed by a long-term replacement starting in September. Weekly working hours: 37.5, distributed as follows: Monday and Friday: 9:00–18:00; Tuesday and Thursday: 8:00–15:30; Wednesday: 9:00–14:30. Intensive schedule during Easter week, summer, and Christmas (8:00/9:00–15:30).
