Summary: We are seeking a teacher or trainer to deliver modules of the Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Health Documentation and Administration, with experience in clinical documentation. Highlights: 1. Deliver face-to-face classes and conduct theoretical/practical sessions. 2. Develop and update teaching materials for the healthcare sector. 3. Monitor academic progress and assess learning outcomes. A teacher or trainer is required to deliver modules of the Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Health Documentation and Administration, with knowledge and experience in clinical documentation, healthcare administrative management, and hospital center operations. The selected candidate will deliver content related to the organization and processing of clinical information and documentation, coding, clinical record archiving, patient management, and administrative processes specific to the healthcare sector. Main responsibilities: • Deliver face-to-face classes for assigned modules of the Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Health Documentation and Administration, in accordance with the established academic schedule. • Conduct theoretical and practical sessions for the following modules: 1515\. Patient Management; 1518\. Health Records and Documentation; 1519\. Health Information and Classification Systems; 1520\. Health Coding; and 1521\. Psychosocial Care for Patients/Users. • Develop, adapt, and update teaching materials, learning activities, and practical case studies linked to the professional context of the healthcare sector. • Monitor students’ academic progress and support their learning process. • Grade assignments, practical cases, and assessment tests, applying the established criteria for continuous assessment. • Evaluate learning outcomes according to the cycle’s syllabus and record the corresponding academic documentation. • Coordinate with the cycle’s academic team, the pedagogical team, and the center’s management. • Participate in teaching staff meetings and group follow-up sessions. • Ensure compliance with quality, attendance, and administrative documentation standards for the training activity. * Experience: 1 year. Particularly valued: • Teaching experience in Vocational Training, occupational training, or continuing education. • Experience in clinical coding, ICD-10, hospital information systems, or electronic health record management. • Knowledge of the Catalan healthcare system. • Ability to plan didactic activities, monitor students, and perform competency-based assessment. • Availability to start on 1 September. * Health Documentation * Catalan (spoken advanced, written advanced) * Spanish (spoken advanced, written advanced) * English (spoken intermediate, written intermediate) * Competencies / knowledge: Candidates must meet the following requirements: • Hold an official university degree: bachelor’s, engineering, architecture, corresponding university degree, or other qualifications declared equivalent under Royal Decree 768/2014 for delivering professional modules of the Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Health Documentation and Administration in privately owned centers. • Possess the Official University Master’s Degree in Teacher Training, CAP (Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude), or equivalent teaching accreditation, where required by current regulations. • Demonstrate sufficient professional competence related to the modules to be taught. • If the submitted qualification does not cover the objectives of the professional modules to be delivered, provide at least three years of relevant work experience in the healthcare sector, specifically in activities related to the cycle’s learning outcomes. • Possess sufficient digital competence for teaching management, use of educational platforms, and application of computer tools to training. Particularly valued: • Teaching experience in Vocational Training, occupational training, or continuing education. • Experience in clinical coding, ICD-10, hospital information systems, or electronic health record management. • Knowledge of the Catalan healthcare system. • Ability to plan didactic activities, monitor students, and perform competency-based assessment. • Availability to start on 1 September. 4\. Regulatory requirements for the training to be delivered The training corresponds to the Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Health Documentation and Administration, within the Healthcare professional family, established by Royal Decree 768/2014 of 12 September. * Indefinite-term employment contract * Part-time morning schedule (12 hours \- annual workload) * Gross monthly salary: 1300 * Other relevant details: • Start date: September. • Type of employment relationship: Employment contract governed by current legislation and the applicable collective agreement for privately funded, publicly subsidized education in Catalonia. • Work schedule: Part-time. • Working hours: To be determined.
