The AFANIAS family association was founded in 1964 and works daily to become a leading organization in the field of intellectual disability, with social presence and influence, facilitating the autonomy and quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families, while addressing their life cycle. In this context, the position of Social Integration Technician (temporary contract) is being advertised. The mission of this position is to support users in their social integration process by designing and implementing individualized intervention actions. MAIN FUNCTIONS Assist users with disabilities in overcoming barriers, obstacles, or difficulties they may encounter in achieving comprehensive development, ensuring their continued participation and progress. Identify users’ needs and determine the individual support measures required; apply appropriate support measures for each user. Mediation: Monitor all actions established to improve and strengthen users’ social integration and labor stability. Develop any necessary training programs to facilitate users’ adaptation to and integration into social and working life. Development of socio-labor skills: Promote and enhance the autonomy and independence of users with disabilities, particularly in carrying out their tasks. Detect, intervene in, and report possible processes of progressive deterioration among users with disabilities, aiming to prevent and/or mitigate their effects. Collaborate with technical teams in developing individual and collective programs required by users of our social centers. Report to the supervisor any observed incidents that may violate individuals’ dignity or compromise the ethical values upheld by our association.
