Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced sewing operator skilled in complete garment construction, operation of specialized machinery, and prototyping. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform all types of sewing operations and work with patterns, cutting, and fittings. 2. Operation of flatbed sewing machine, double-needle machine, overlock machine, and buttonhole machine. 3. Prototyping for samples. We are looking for a sewing operator to work in Redondela. Main responsibilities include performing all types of sewing operations, working with patterns, cutting and fittings, as well as constructing darts and pleats. Operation of specialized machinery—including flatbed sewing machine, double-needle machine, overlock machine, and buttonhole machine—is required. Time will also be dedicated to prototyping for samples. A temporary contract with possible extension and full-time schedule is offered. Working hours are Monday to Friday on a split shift: 08:00–14:00 and 15:00–17:00, with weekends off. Salary will comply with the applicable collective agreement. Prior experience in complete garment construction and pattern interpretation, along with knowledge and practical experience in the textile sector, is highly valued. * Immediate availability. * Personal vehicle to commute to the workplace. * Relevant education in sewing, pattern making, and fashion is desirable. * Minimum 1 year of experience in pattern making, fashion, and sewing.
