**Job Description** **Position Overview**
Manage local procurement activities, ensuring compliance with group procurement policies. Coordinate procurement and transportation activities, track purchase orders, and collaborate on optimizing the company’s logistics processes—ensuring availability of materials, equipment, and services required for business operations.
Act as the liaison between the local office and corporate Procurement and Supply Chain departments, coordinating local operations and imports from Group factories or international suppliers.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Local Procurement**
* Select, qualify, and evaluate local suppliers in accordance with corporate policies.
* Request and compare quotations from local suppliers.
* Manage purchase orders and monitor deliveries.
* Maintain an up-to-date supplier database and conduct relevant audits.
* Support recurring procurement negotiations and service contracts.
* Handle issues related to orders and supplies.
* Assist in identifying cost-reduction opportunities.
**Logistics**
* Coordinate transportation with logistics operators.
* Manage shipping documentation and goods receipt.
* Track shipments and deliveries.
* Coordinate logistics issues with suppliers and carriers.
**Import Management**
* Manage imports from Group factories or international suppliers.
* Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs agents, and carriers.
* Oversee import and transportation documentation.
* Monitor adherence to timelines and costs for international operations.
* Resolve issues related to transportation, customs clearance, or goods receipt.
* Ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations and international trade laws.
**Requirements** **Education**
* Bachelor’s degree or higher vocational training in:
+ Business Administration and Management.
+ International Trade.
+ Logistics and Transportation.
+ Supply Chain.
+ Engineering or related fields.
**Experience**
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement and logistics.
* Experience in industrial companies, distribution, or multinational corporations will be valued.
* Recent graduates with relevant internships will also be considered.
**Knowledge**
* Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* ERP system proficiency.
* Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
* Basic knowledge of international trade and Incoterms (desirable).
**Languages**
* Spanish.
