Drive sustainability, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement. **Engineering Manager** Would you like to lead the Engineering strategy and CAPEX investment projects at an industrial plant in full transformation, with direct impact on its growth and technological evolution? At **Oxigent Technologies**, we are seeking an **Engineering Manager** to join a leading company in the food industry, with a production facility located in the **Barcelona area**. Your mission will be to lead the Engineering department during a **significant investment cycle**: manage the portfolio of **industrial projects**, evolve plant infrastructure, and ensure efficient commissioning of new equipment and production lines. You will report directly to the **Plant Director** and manage a **team of 4 people**. What will be your key responsibilities? * Lead the plant’s **CAPEX investment strategy** and technical innovation projects. * Manage the **engineering project portfolio**: new equipment, process development, and technical improvements. * Plan and execute projects from **conceptual design** through to **commissioning** and handover to operations. * Ensure efficient commissioning of new equipment (Vertical Startups), achieving target **OEE** levels. * Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Global Engineering, and external suppliers. * Drive initiatives in **sustainability**, **energy efficiency**, and continuous improvement. * Manage and develop a team of **4 people** (3 Project Engineers \+ 1 technical support role). What qualifications do you need? * Degree in **Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering**. * Over **7 years’ experience** in industrial engineering management. * Experience in the **food, beverage, pet food or pharmaceutical industry**. * Experience leading **industrial projects** and managing **CAPEX investments**. * Knowledge of **ATEX, CE, HACCP**, and **ISO 14001** regulations. * Experience in **Greenfield projects** and equipment commissioning. * Knowledge of **industrial automation** and technology roadmaps. * Fluent **Spanish**; advanced **English** (an asset).
