We are looking to hire a Virtualization Administrator to participate in a strategic project for Madrid Digital, working on the administration and operation of high-level virtualized infrastructures within an advanced technological environment. The selected candidate will join a specialized team responsible for managing virtualization platforms and systems, participating in the operation, evolution, and optimization of critical infrastructures. ***What will you do?*** * Administration and operation of VMware-based virtualized environments. * Management and maintenance of virtualization and hyperconverged infrastructures. * Administration of VSAN and virtualization clusters. * Monitoring, optimization, and incident resolution in virtualized environments. * Collaboration in the evolution and continuous improvement of virtualization platforms. * Preparation of technical documentation and activity reports. * Coordination and joint work with other technical teams. ***What do we offer?*** * Participation in a strategic project for the Public Administration. * Specialized technical environment with established virtualization technologies. * Hybrid work model (50% remote work). * Stability and involvement in projects with significant technological impact. * Working hours: * + Three days per week: intensive schedule of 7 hours + Two days per week: split schedule of 9 hours **Requirements:** --------------- * Higher Vocational Training Degree (Information and Communications Technology field) or university degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent. * Minimum 5 years of experience in the ICT sector, managing virtualized environments. * At least 1 year of experience in system administration and operation. * Demonstrable experience in: * + Administration of VMware environments. + Administration of virtualization or hyperconverged infrastructures (VMware, Hyper\-V, Nutanix, etc.). + Administration of VSAN. + Management and maintenance of virtualization clusters. ***Desirable Requirements*** * Experience with vCloud Director and VMware Aria Suite. * ITIL Foundation certification. * VCP\-DCV certification (VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization).
