Our mission is to **strengthen business-critical tools**, propelling our clients’ businesses forward by delivering tailored, reliable solutions across their entire application landscape. To achieve this, we operate across **four complementary pillars**: * **Custom web and mobile applications**, designed to meet each client’s specific needs and ensure optimal user experiences; * **DevOps**, ensuring system stability, scalability, and efficiency while accelerating delivery cycles; * **E-commerce**, supporting the growth of retail and online service providers with high-performance, flexible platforms; * **ERP and PIM**, structuring and optimizing business processes, centralizing information, and facilitating decision-making. Every day, our teams deploy **Hello Pomelo’s energy and technical expertise** in service of our clients — ensuring that their technical production capacity never hinders innovation, but instead becomes a tangible driver of growth and added value. We are proud to be a **leading tech delivery partner** for French ETIs, committed to their long-term success. **Job Description** ----------------------- ### **Context** **At Hello Pomelo, the Product Engineer bridges the gap between product vision and technical reality — without requiring intermediaries in either direction.** They understand why an architectural decision impacts a roadmap. They automate tasks still handled manually by a Product Owner. They read a client’s IT architecture diagram and know exactly how to act upon it. You justify architectural decisions based on value delivered to the client. * You produce functional PoCs and architectural analyses that ground our offering in concrete evidence. * You identify CIO buying signals and translate business challenges into quantified application scope (time to value, ROI). ### **Scoping Phase \- You Orchestrate Technical Understanding and User Experience** * Co-lead discovery workshops alongside the Project Director. Become a deep domain expert in your client’s business. * Participate in user interviews with the UX/UI expert. * Review wireframes and share development constraints. * Draft deliverables (scoping note, V1 backlog, roadmap). * You orchestrate technical scoping and possess a fine-grained understanding of your client’s IT architecture priorities. ### **️Development Phase \- You Industrialize Delivery** * Implement agent-based automation across delivery: specification generation, quality tracking, client reporting. You master AI workflows and deploy them concretely. * Serve as the primary client and dev team contact point: you speak both languages fluently, without intermediaries. * Ensure product quality in coordination with QA engineers; coordinate MEPs (Major Enhancement Projects). * Lead product tracking: define events, analyze data, and make informed decisions accordingly. ### **✌️Company Responsibilities** * Participate in side projects: recruitment, communications, team training, partnership development, onboarding, AI process initiatives. * Integrate into the product team’s roadmap and ensure continuous skill development. ### **Your Team** You will join the product team, composed of around twenty experts: * Head of Product * Project Directors * Product Managers * Product Owners You will collaborate daily with other Hello Pomelo teams: QA engineers, DevOps engineers, developers, Tech Leads, and Product Builders. **Required Profile** -------------------- ### **️Background** * Master’s degree from an engineering school * Minimum two years of successful experience in a similar role * Eligible for the VIE program **What Will Set You Apart** * You’ve already reviewed (and challenged) an architecture diagram before signing off on scope. * You’ve automated something that previously consumed your time. * You know when a business requirement is technically unfeasible within the given budget. ### **Skills** * Proactivity * Rigor * High standards * Curiosity * Professional English **Recruitment Process** -------------------------- Interview 1: Meeting with a team member (1 hour) Interview 2: Practical PM case study Interview 3: 1-hour session with a co-founder **Additional Information** -------------------------------- * Contract type: **VIE** (12 to 24 months) * Start date: **September 1, 2026** * Location: **Barcelona** * **Occasional remote work permitted** * Salary: **€2500 / year**
